Well, Shrewd will be streaming 7 of our past shows, as part of this virtual, streaming series. Critically acclaimed world premieres like Alabaster, Jump, The Afterparty, Hold Me Well, and Still Now, in addition to our Austin premiere of The Revolutionists (B. Iden Payne winner of Best Production of a Comedy), and our beloved, gender-fluid interpretation of Shakespeare's As You Like It.

Sneaky Previews
Take a peek behind the curtain and see how the art is made! Sneaky previews is a live-via-zoom reading series, featuring brand new plays that Shrewd is considering for future production. Including works from Alexandra Espinosa, Jesus Valles, Olivia Lilley, Deborah Laufner, Trey Deason, Susan Soon He Stanton, and more!

Shrewd Mainstage
Shrewd LIVE. This time, it's socially distant.
Nothing really compares to the thrill of watching something live, happening right in this very moment. So Shrewd will continue to produce live entertainment, coming to you safely, via the internet! This spring, we'll be producing the virtual world premiere of Brian Daniel Oglesby's Small Steps, starring Matrex Kilgore as Skip Powers, the first man to go to Mars! In September, we'll be remounting Lady Macbeth and Her Pal, Megan, the uproarious comedy by Megan Gogerty, starring Eva McQuade (winner of the B. Iden Payne Award for Best Actress in a Comedy in our original production). We'll also be celebrating the holidays, and Shrewd's 16th year anniversary, with Xmas Unwrapped, a seasonal cabaret of song, dance, and burlesque, hosted by Jesus Valles. Naughty AND nice, it's a fan-favorite for a reason!

The Happy Hours!
Tired of seeing the same faces day after day? Need a little boost to your social mix? Not to worry, The Happy Hours are here! In partnership with The Butterfly Bar, Shrewd will be hosting live, virtual happy hours with cast and crew members after our opening-night ICYMI screening, or mainstage production. So pour yourself a cocktail (or mocktail), and join some Shrewds for lively conversation, and just some good relaxing fun with your favorite artists!
