A message from Liz

I can't think of a better play or team with which to make my debut with Shrewd having been a longtime fan and admirer of their mission to turn up the volume on the stories of complicated women. Alabaster in particular is merciless, poetic, and hilarious in it's exploration of women bonded through trauma and the roads they build together in order to move forward. Audrey Cefaly has truly brought the unapologetic truth and grit of Southern women to the pages of this play, and it's an honor to "dance with the one what brung ya."
