About Taji

New to both Shrewd Productions and performing, Taji’s love for the creative arts runs deep. She recently made her stage debut at The Vortex Theater in Krysta Gonzales poignant, original drama, Robin Hood: An Elegy, which explored and tackled America’s history with state-sanctioned violence against African Americans.

When she’s not exploring Austin’s fascinating world of theater, Taji is helping build the next generation of women leaders as a Marketing and Communications professional for the local chapter of a global non-profit.

Why are you excited about As You Like It?

I’m beyond ecstatic to have the opportunity to work with such talented and experienced artists. I’m really looking forward to seeing Lily’s unique vision come to life and be fully realized on stage. Performing original Shakespeare is certainly a challenge, but it’s one I’m glad to take part in. So far, it’s been really fun to explore a whole new world and gain a better, more intimate understanding of these characters.
