Meet our Understudy - Estrella Saldana!

Estrella Saldana plays Deseparecida on September 7th and 8th in Shrewd Productions' NNPN rolling world premiere of Stephanie Alison Walker's THE MADRES.

A message from Estrella

As a theatre maker, I have always viewed storytelling as a responsibility to my community. I join this cast, though temporarily, with the intention of honoring the Madres who have been fighting for a lifetime to be heard and seen. I am honored to be joining this dedicated team in honoring this story.

About Estrella Saldana

Estrella Saldana is an Austinite and graduate of The University of Texas' College of Fine Arts. Most recently she performed in The Immigrant at Austin Playhouse, The Wolves at Hyde Park Theatre and Girls in Cars Underwater during the UTNT play festival.
